Best Wishes for Me
Maybe previous year didn’t exactly go as I had planned.
Perhaps I made a few mistakes.
Maybe there were a few disappointments.
Maybe I didn’t achieve every goal.
Or maybe some of the plans that I had for the future fell apart.
And some things didn’t make sense.
And some were painful.
And some might have brought me to tears.
Today, it's my birthday, I want to thank myself for being strong, patient, and brave to face anything.
I also want to thank all of you for being in my life ❤️
For cheering me on when I’m down.
For your encouraging words.
For comforting me when I’m sad, for laughing when I try to be funny.
For your support.
Everything that happened previous year happened for a reason.
I’ve learned that there are things that go wrong.
I’ve learned that some broken things stay broken.
It made me more aware, more focused, more determined, and
Blessed by the gift of life,
blessed to have a super mom and brother that always love and support me (also dad),
blessed to have another year of chasing dreams (...life partner and master (?)) and making memories.
And with everything I’ve been through, I’ve never been more prepared to walk into 2024 wiser, happier, stronger, more patient, and more of a woman than ever.
